Khanzad Chess Club held two international Rapid chess Tournaments simultaneously registered with the International Chess Federation - FIDE- through the Iraqi Chess Federation.
The First: The 19th Khanzad Rapid Chess Tournament -closed- for young women with a system (Round-Robin) with a time of 15 minutes + 10 seconds.
The Second: The 20th Khanzad Rapid Chess Tournament -open- for all ages and both genders, in Swiss system (9 rounds) with a time of 15 minutes + 10 seconds.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Mr. (Dr. Dlovan Muhammad Fateh), Director General of Erbil Health, in the presence of the President of Khanzad Specialized Chess Club (Dr. Dlzar Hama Salih) and (Pishtaiwan Ahmad Sheikh Hamad), Honorary President of the Club, and a group of media , TV channels and players . The two Tournaments were supervised by the international Arbiters: Abdul-Aziz Aswad, Diyar Hama Salih Qadir, Ali Abdullah, Dlpak Ali Hamzeh and Iman Akbar
