With the participation of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Ryath Obeidi the Iraqi minister of youth and sports, Mr. Shaker Smo KRG General directorate of Sports, Mr. Pshtiwan Ahmed honorary president of Khanzad Chess Club, Mr. Dlzar Hamasalih the president of Khanzad Chess Club, Mr. Azad Debagayi KRG president for Kurdistan Chess Federation the 8th BLITZ championship has begun at Khanzad’s Chess Club. This championship was organized on the occasion of holy month of Ramadan which included 60 chess male and female players from all around Kurdistan and Iraq. This championship was in Swiss system in 9 rounds with a timing of (3+2) minutes for each side.
